Please join Oakridge Trails Alliance, our amazing local Oakridge Westfir Tree Planting Teens, and the Oakridge Disc Golf Club to help put the shine on our local Mill Park and Trails network in East Oakridge. The East Oakridge Mill Park area improvements have been underway for quite sometime now with the Disc Golf Course, Mill Pond Park, and the current Flume Trail development that will eventually link to Eugene to Crest trail system via Salt Creek drainage. Other trails in the area will connect Uptown, over the train trestle bridge, and the south Oakridge Industrial Park (OIP) and Salmon Creek levy with Greenwaters. There's even plans for a new professional asphalt pump track in the OIP! The area really is beginning to come to life! Please join us to put your own signature on this truly amazing emerging community recreation hub!

Where: We’ll meet up at 3PM at the Oakridge Trails Alliance Tool Shop (76248 Industrial Park Way, Oakridge, OR 97463). We’ll be removing invasives, cleaning up disc golf signs, clear coating the Mill Park mural, brushing and clearing trails on the Mill Pond, spreading gravel on the new Flume Trail, and more! This is an inclusive effort, with jobs for everyone!
Who: Everyone who loves the Oakridge and Westfir Communities!
Difficulty level: EASY OR HARDER - YOU CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE!
What: We’ll be removing invasives, cleaning up disc golf signs, clear coating the Mill Park mural, brushing and clearing trails on the Mill Pond, spreading gravel on the new Flume Trail, and we’ll need some grillmasters and food servers! This is an inclusive effort, with jobs for everyone!
Bring: Please muster up generous amounts of awesome enthusiam and big smiles! Bring a water bottle and please wear appropriate clothing for the weather and working outdoors - closed toe shoes please. Oakridge Trails Alliance and Oakridge Disc Golf Club will provide all the necessary tools and gear!
Community BBQ & Potluck to follow! Afterwards, we’ll host a BBQ in the parking lot of the OTA Tool Shop back on Industrial Parkway. Please feel free to bring a potluck dish or other prepared food contribution.
