Inspiring a Legacy of Trails for Everyone!

Oakridge Trails Alliance - Mission & Values

Shaping the Legacy of Greater Oakridge Area Trails Stewards

Oakridge Trails Alliance (OTA) is a nonprofit trails stewardship organization comprised of individual advocates, volunteers, businesses, land managers and other outdoor recreation stakeholders with a common interest in caring for trails. The mission of OTA is to protect, maintain, enhance and celebrate trails throughout the Greater Oakridge Area and Middle Fork Ranger District of the Willamette National Forest for future generations of outdoor enthusiasts. Our primary goals are to advocate and develop a safe, inclusive, and sustainable future for everyone to enjoy trails!

We will do this by leading intiatives that inspire trails enthusiast to work together to learn and implement best practices for trails maintenance and development, and growing partnerships to collectively build and maintain the trails of the Middle Fork Willamette District and fostering actions that improve outdoor recreation and a connection to nature for the benefit of local and regional communities, and all trails users.

The Oakridge Trails Alliance recognizes that we are working on the traditional homelands of Native peoples of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians of Oregon, The Klamath Tribes, and Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs. We recognize these Native peoples are the original stewards of this territory and we honor them through our continued efforts to learn more about and help preserve an authentic connection to the culture, ecology and history of the area.
